NO MORE FISH

Post  TONY,S ANGELS on Wed 22 May 2013, 10:07

Hi Rob
Welcome to the forum, But I Have to let you and All the forum know that i have just SOLD ALL MY BREEDING STOCK,
some 24 pairs of Angels & six pairs of Discus. Rams , All Ancistrus sold but have kept my L183 breeders. In my front room disply tank.
And all my 40 odd tanks/Racking are sold. just got 9 external fillters to sell on Ebay When I get time to addvertize them.
And The last of the fish should be gone this weekend 25/26 may. Then the shut Down of the fish house will be Done. (Very sad ) But after 20 years of breeding fish it has got to much work on top of all my day job work.
And if I am honest it got to be more a chore than a fun hobby, And I have time now to do anything i want. Very Happy
I will still come on the forum from time to time if i can help any body with a problem I will.
Hope all the forum keeps going as it is very good for beginners and experienced fish keepers. As we are
Always learning something new in this game.
Cheers Tony

Sorry to hear that too Tony, but as you say, when a hobby become a chore it's time to quit, or at the very least scale back.

Also sorry came close to closing my fishroom down a few times, once it stops becoming a labour of love it's not fair on fish or keeper. Glad your keeping your hand in and hope you return to it one day and look forward to tapping into your years of experience Tony.

Time to Stop

Post  TONY,S ANGELS on Thu 23 May 2013, 10:02

Hi RobRud
Yes you are right Rob when the spark/love of doing your hobby is gone time to sell.
Was luky that as soon as i said i was packing in the fish house sold stock and tanks
straight away.
And very nice fish you are breeding with good shape and body size, In my opinion most
strains of Angel's you see these days have lost the body size which is a shame.
Cheers Tony
