The chances of raising babies in a community tank with other angels are pretty well zero, so unless you have a tank to move all the other fish into, or some means of partitioning the existing tank, your only option is to remove the wrigglers to safer quarters. IMO the best way to do this is to syphon them out & move them to a tank ideally filled with water from their present tank and filtered with a mature sponge filter.

I am still debating what to do, the parents are looking after them really well but I know when they go free swimming then they will end up as high protien food. So do I just remove the wrigglers to a spare tank or do I move the parents and the wrigglers with the leaf to see if they continue to care for them.

I have really really woirked hard to get them into this position and am torn in the next steps

Oh well, at least it looks like you have a dedicated pair to get as far as they did, so I'm sure they'll do well for you once they have their own tank.

I am pleased that they got as far as they did to be honest , I have spent months trying to get them into the right condition to attempt to get them spawning so now they have got this far on their first attempt is great .....now a dedicated tank me thinks Smile

Congratts Simon. You have accomplished what I always tried but failed. I agree with Rob, take out the riddlers ASAP. And good luck for the future.
