what type....?

Post  rick.vgl on Sun 18 Nov 2012, 19:09

Hi there,i am a new member and have just acquired a group of seven angels from a good friend, who i believe, got them from your very own Lisa (i think).I was just wondering on the proper name for these,i,ve heard alot about platinum angels of which i was told that these are but they do have quite alot of irridescent blue in thier finnage and also on their body,(quite a bit more than in the pics)....sorry for the bad pics as i had to use my phone........

they range in size from "50p" to around 3"........

Lisa Platinum angels

Post  gibbo156 on Sun 18 Nov 2012, 19:25

I've got six the same as these that i got from Lisa in September.

I beleive them to be g/g , s/+ , pb/pb

That is gold from both parents,

Philippine blue from both parents

and

stripeless from one parent

They are called Platinum Blue

Beautiful aren't they !

Hi Rick, yes gibbo is correct about them, I am well chuffed to see how the 'kids' are getting on Very Happy , I hope you are entering the top image in the Angelfish Photo Show competition? Depending on size the entries are up tomorrow for the youngsters and then we start the sub Adult Class Very Happy

Hi Lisa....yes i might enter the top one into the comp tomorrow, but i,ll get a better pic with the camera to hopefully show it,s true colours. That one would probably be in the "sub adult"category,as it is around the 2.5inch mark.I would just like to say well done Lisa on breeding top class angels,it,s people like yourself that keeps the hobby of fishkeeping an interesting and pleasurable activity.
