It's Too Quiet

Post  Pterophyllum on Wed 01 Aug 2012, 22:42

It's too quite here, so I thought I'd post a few photos to try and liven things up a bit

you do take some really nice pics .... my fish never sit still long enough for me to get any decent shots! they always seem to be whizzing off somewhere ina hurry ! [ probably all females dashing to s a shoe sale somewhere Rolling Eyes ]
i like the blue how it comes out in the pics on the fish .... yes i know im no fish expert but the talent seems not only to be in ur breeding but ur photography as well!

well done sir!

Hi Jimmy,
photo number 7 is a young red back - not one I bred I hasten to add
the last photo isn't a red back, it's actually a sibling to the blue marbles in 6 & 9. I kept 2 ghosts & 2 silvers (they're all het. for pb) and I'm really pleased with the way they're turning out - see photos 1, 4, 5 & 10. Their marble father (and many of his siblings have similar red/orange colouration on their crowns) I'm hoping it's something I can work with to intensify, and maybe cross to red backs at some stage. But this will have to be one of my very long term projects.

Very nice pictures as always Rob. I must admit that I have been snowed under lately and not contributed here. Need to get back on board - you're right.
